Simply put, Amara Resort and Spa is a scenic escape and premier place for relaxing in Sedona.
Why Amara Resort and Spa?
If you want to be greeted with red rock from your hotel room, Amara is the place to do it. The views alone were enough to convince me to book my stay at this resort. Nestled in the heart of Sedona, Amara provides easy access to many of the town’s attractions just minutes away by walking. This place has it all – thoughtful customer service, an appetizing restaurant on site, luxury spa and amazing views (did I mention that already?) As expected all of this can come with a considerable price tag. We booked our stay during the winter and found it to work better for our budget.

We had plans to go out to dinner our first night in Sedona. Between recovering from jet lag and inclement weather, we thought it would be better to dine at the resort. Dining at Salt Rock Kitchen , only seconds away from our room, made life so much easier knowing that we didn’t have to travel far to enjoy great food. These days I find myself gravitating towards moving at a slower, more flexible pace while traveling. Where I can, I try my best to minimize the stress of rushing from one plan on the itinerary to another. Things happen — so I am glad staying at Amara made it really easy to adjust.
Amenities
Amara provides a modern, yet tranquil presence in its building layout and within the rooms. I enjoyed the sounds of the fire pit at night and the splash of the jacuzzi by day. Since we visited during a less busy time of year we really got to indulge in the relaxing energy that Amara offers.
The Salt Rock Kitchen serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. After enjoying dinner there our first night, we were sure to eat there a few more times. Some of our favorite meals of the trip was at the restaurant. Salt Rock is also quite popular among tourists and locals alike.
The Amara Spa facilities are just a few feet away from the resort’s main building. Be sure to book your treatment in advance as the reservations fill up quickly. I didn’t receive service at the spa but my partner thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Final Thoughts
I truly believe that if you are going to go away, you should really go away. Amara Resort and Spa was a perfect choice for a weekend getaway to Sedona. The location, amenities and staff are just a few of the reasons I enjoyed my visit here. If you are looking for a weekend of relaxation and comfort, you should consider a stay at Amara Resort and Spa.
Live abundantly,
Bethany
