I used to think that rain in the forecast meant I was left with very little outfit choices. But not anymore. Now I see rainy days, especially in the fall, as an opportunity for chic knits and cozy layers.

I must admit that when I woke up on Sunday, I had no idea what I was going to wear. In my book, that often means that the outfit will be amazing. I always put my best outfits together when I have little time to prepare them. Given how chilly it was during the day prior, I knew I was going to opt for one of my heavier knits.
In this post I will share how a few key elements turned this often into a complete hit! Honestly, I was getting compliments on this look all day. They key is to create an outfit that is durable for the weather, comfortable enough to move around in and so chic that no one even notices its raining. Ahead I break down this stylish rainy day outfit.
Headwear is essential for rainy days. I usually anticipate that my hair is going to get messed up in the rain depending on how much rain is predicted. In preparation for that, I gladly threw on this solid black wrap from The Wrap Life. I purchased this wrap many years ago along with a few other styles from this brand.
Since the head wrap brings so much attention to my face, it created the perfect opportunity to add a flattering pair of earrings. I talk about these H&M earrings over on my Instagram all the time. This exact pair is not available at the moment, but there is a similar pair available for just $15.
The Source Unknown Becca Oversized High Roll Knit feels like a warm blanket swaddled around your body. The sleeves are long and the detailing runs throughout the entire sweater. I am most attracted to the high collar of this design. For this look I wore it slightly off shoulder, but this sweater can be worn multiple ways.

As always, don’t forget your accessories. I am a huge fan of Kurt Geiger bags like this one. The bags come in such bold color ways and the hold quite a bit of items. To finish the outfit, even this Target Leopard Print Umbrella understood the assignment. From head to toe, this may go down as one of my favorite looks ever. Be sure to save this for your next rainy day outfit!
Live abundantly,
Bethany
