If my hair looks good, then I look good. That has been my motto for as long as I could remember. The versatility of natural hair is undeniable. During the summer I use this time to play around with protective styles as much as I can.
Typically I am a low ponytail kind of girl. This time however I knew I wanted a style with a bit more drama. I purchased two bundles of UNice Brazilian Kinky Curly 20’’ inch hair (I purchased the hair in store so it may differ slightly from what is available online). This came at the recommendation of my stylist @tressesofsoleil and it proved to be a perfect match with my own hair.
The back of my hair is my favorite part of the style. Since you are not expecting to see braids in the back it creates an element of surprise that I really enjoyed. For the final touch she made a bubble ponytail which was super flattering and also kept the hair pretty neat. You can play around with the ponytail by wearing it straight, curly or blown out.
If you are thinking about a cute, protective style this summer you should defintely add this one to your mood board.
