Haven’t Tried Ramen By Ra? You Are Missing Out

The dining experience so good it’s nearly impossible to get a reservation.

Ditch your brunch plans — or any other plans for that matter — because chef Rasheeda Purdie is cooking up incredible combinations at her intimate 5 seat stall at Ramen by Ra in NYC.

I share things I enjoy with all of you. If you happen to buy, I may earn a commission when you use the links in this post (at no cost to you).

Ramen by Ra has been on my Resy favorites list for a few months. Now that I’ve experienced the rich flavors and intimate dining experience, I can attest this restaurant is truly a gem. Admittedly, I’ve never considered NYC breakfast classics in the form of ramen before. The menu contains a revitalized asa-ramen topped with New York City’s breakfast favorites: thick cut bacon, gravlax with a cream cheese foam, or steak and soy egg.

While seated on a bar stool underneath the retractable roof I felt at ease, like that of your favorite local bar. Only instead of talking to your bartender about your plans for the weekend, I was struck by the precision and attention that Rasheeda placed in every bowl of ramen. I didn’t even want to speak. Marvel and excitement swept over my face. I thought to myself this is gonna be good.

I watched as she delicately placed the strips of steak onto the bed of noodle – careful not to disrupt the placement of the egg. From the first slurp to the last, the buttery noodle and umami broth was masterful. Ramen by Ra is a must-try serving up inviting, distinct and enjoyable ramen in NYC.

Live abundantly,

Bethany
